30" SafetySure Plastic Transfer Board
The SafetySure® Transfer Board provides a secure and stable bridge between two seating surfaces, making patient transfers safer and more comfortable. Constructed from flexible, durable plastic, the board is comfortable to sit on and easy to remove after use. Supports up to 300 lbs.
This transfer board is designed primarily for seated transfers, including:

The board assists with transfers between surfaces of the same or slightly different heights. If you have limited upper-body strength, be sure to work with a caregiver during transfers.
For proper placement, follow the industry guideline of “a third, a third, a third”:

Position one-third of the board on the surface you are transferring from,

One-third on the destination surface,
-
And leave the remaining third spanning the space between them.
During the transfer, support your weight on the flat surface of the board. Move slowly and carefully, paying attention to your posture and body alignment. Avoid dragging your buttocks across the board, keep your feet flat on the floor for stability, and never place your hands or fingers underneath the board during use.
