Honey Wound Gel

L-Mesitran Soft is a primary dressing gel that contains 40% medical-grade honey, hypoallergenic lanolin, and vitamins C & E. When in contact with the wound, fluid is drawn from the surrounding tissues through osmosis, creating a moist healing environment. Soft does not adhere to the wound and prevents secondary dressings from adhering to the wound.
Soft dressings can be used as primary dressing for acute and chronic wounds, such as venous, atrial, and diabetic ulcers, fungating wounds, donor sites, and surgical wounds at stages 1, 2, 3, and 4.

Honey Wound Gel Benefits:

  • Gel containing 40% medical-grade honey, hypoallergenic lanolin, and vitamins C and E.
  • Provides a moist wound healing environment when fluid is drawn from surrounding tissues through osmosis, enhancing wound healing.
  • Used with the most commonly used secondary dressings. The properties of Soft help prevent the secondary dressing from adhering to the wound bed.
  • Ideal for use on chronic and acute wounds, surgical wounds, burns, fungating wounds and pressure ulcers at stages 1, 2, 3 or 4.
