| Ocelco’s Anti-Rollback Device is designed to provide safetyto the wheelchair occupant as their weight is lifted off the wheelchair seatwhile changing from sitting to standing. As the occupant takes weight off theseat, the brake arms grab the wheelchair wheels. This prevents backwardmovement of the chair and allows the occupant to safety use the wheelchair as asupport to push down onto the armrests if needed. Heavy seat cushions are not a problem because eachanti-rollback device includes an easy-to-install kit that compensates for theadditional cushion weight. This device still allows the wheelchair to collapsefor transport or storage.
